Artists of the Week

Each week three works of art from each art class at Dragon Lake elementary school in Quesnel, B.C. will be selected and featured at this site. Student artwork from grade two to seven will be displayed on this site from Monday morning to the evening of the following Sunday. Artwork will be selected according to technique, composition, and creativity. Hope you enjoy and thank you to all of the art students at Dragon Lake elementary school.

King Lizard and the Wizard
In a land of
giant mushrooms
and fairytales
and kings

Lived a magic
dragon
who had diamonds
on his wings

His friend had scales
and long tails
King Lizard was
his name

They flew to see
a wizard
the one who was
so tame

He lived upon
a mountain
that was underneath
the sea

Beneath the rocks
and coral
inside a sunken
